# I MASTURBATE campaign from Womanizer

I masturbate Womanizer

It’s 2019 and we’re slowly making progress to speak publicly and openly about self-pleasure and masturbation. This wasn’t always the case and it was a long road to get where we are today. While there are many amazing women and men doing pioneering work to break down barriers and stigmas, there’s so much left to do to!

Speaking or hearing about masturbation still makes some people feel uncomfortable or embarrassed and it’s is most often not associated with female pleasure.

A Statement from the Womanizer Team

We want to live in a world where we can safely and openly speak, sing or write about our sexual preferences, masturbation and self-pleasure. We believe that every person deserves to live a sexually-fulfilling and self-determined life. This is why we’re proud to launch the #IMASTURBATE campaign. We want to put an end to the stigma around masturbation by creating a dialogue with all of the wonderful people who already speak openly about their sexual needs, desires and preferences, and those who want to make their voices heard.

Solo Sex = Self-Love!

Tap. Pat. Press. Rub. Fondle. Masturbation is not just the stimulation of your own genitals in order to reach orgasm. It is so much more! We believe that solo sex gives you the chance to explore your own body and get to know and love yourself. Masturbation is self-love lived and practiced!

#IMASTURBATE – and what about you?

With the #IMASTURBATE campaign and hashtag, we want to show that masturbation is completely natural, beautiful and perfect–no matter what it looks or sounds like. Together with thought leaders and well-known influencers, we are sharing this message with the world through articles, infographics and expert interviews. We want everyone to celebrate their individual “Me-Moments”–and to be open about their experiences with each other.

Why? It’s our own right to make ourselves happy and to enjoy our sexuality to the fullest. #IMASTURBATE–and what about you?

You need hard facts instead of fine words. Here you go!

Frieda worked as a freelance journalist for over 10 years: She used to write about Easter recipes and style icons, about human metabolism and Michelin-rated restaurants. In short: about everything, except for sex. And for a good reason. Frieda always considered herself to be an average sexual person for all those years. Until a breakup persuaded her to stop taking the pill, which she had been on for 14 years. It was then, at the age of 28, that she finally discovered her wonderful sexuality and found her true, unique and hungry libido. Ever since, she has not only practiced a new sexuality. She writes and speaks about it too. And has never been as fulfilled as she is today!
