New You Tube Show “Private Parts”: Interview with Venus Libido

The show that dives into all things sexy, saucy & naughty. That’s the credo of the new You Tube series ‘Private Parts’, presented by Womanizer. Together with her guests, illustrator and influencer Venus Libido are doing  some frank talking.

Venus Libido, please end this senctence for us: Sexual Wellbeing means for me…

…looking after yourself and your need’s. It’s about loving your body and making sure your mental and physical self feel taken care of well looked after. Being confident that touching your own body is in no way a shameful act was something that I wish someone told me was ok many years ago.

What is your mission: For the show ‘Private Parts’ but also for your podcast, your illustrations, your work?

My mission with ‘Private Parts’ is to create something fun and educational around such a taboo topic. Personally for me growing up I didn’t feel very confident or sure of my sexuality and I didn’t feel at all liberated. My aim with all my work is to make others, especially the younger generation, feel confident and safe about their own choices in life whether this be sexual orientation, mental health, masturbation and body confidence.

How did the idea for ‘Private Parts’ evolve?

Private parts is something that has been floating around in my head for about a year now. The idea basically came from watching other chat shows that I really enjoyed and realising that no none had really done a fun sex chat show with people that I wanted to learn from. I wasn’t seeing anything that was inclusive or education and so hopefully I can create that.

What is the best advice you ever got?

I think it has to be ‘you are stronger than you think you are’ my good friend Natalie Byrne always says it to me and it always lifts my spirits.

Which woman inspires you?

I don’t think I can pick just one because so many different women inspire me in so many different ways. However my mum has to be at the top of the list because she taught me to be brave, independent and to always fight my demons. When you watch a woman bring up 3 young children and a disabled husband all by herself, you learn that there is no time to sit down.

How do you spoil yourself when you spend ‘Me-Time’?

I tend to get my sex toys out, now that I have quite an impressive collection, and have a play with them. This doesn’t happen often as I would like at the moment though as I’m back living with my parents. I really enjoy just being alone though to be honest and having some wine and eating some good cheesy pasta and watching my favourite shows.

You have one hour more time a day: What would you do with this hour?

Honestly I think I would just spend it with my family. I have two younger brother’s who both work really hard and I don’t feel like I get to see them enough anymore now we are all grown up. It breaks my heart.

If you could change one thing in this world: What would that be?

Again narrowing this down to one is hard but I would remove all the hate, prejudice and stereotyping that people have towards one another. Also I would remove the funny bone from the body because it’s incredibly irritating.

Which one is your favourite Womanizer?

I think my favourite has to be the premium. It’s changed my life and my vagina would agree so too if it could speak.

And now: A last word?

It’s really cheesy but follow your dreams and never give up. If someone told me 3 years ago that I would be making a show that I’ve dreamt of doing for ages then I would have fell to the ground in laughter. But with hard work and persistence I’ve made it happen. Don’t let one no turn into a life time of giving up.

Lovely Venus Libido! Thank you so much for the interview and good luck for ‘Private Parts’.

She writes and speaks about it too. And has never been as fulfilled as she is today!
